The information you obtain at this site is not, nor is it intended to be, legal advice. You should consult an attorney for advice regarding your individual situation. We invite you to contact us and welcome your calls, letters and electronic mail. Contacting us does not create an attorney-client relationship. Please do not send any confidential information to us until such time as an attorney-client relationship has been established. The information provided to us will, in most cases, be completely confidential. One exception would be in a case where we already represent a party that is adverse to you. This is very rare; however, if we already represent someone adverse to you, our obligation is to the client we already represent. If you believe we may represent a party that is adverse to you, then you may ask "do you represent ____." We will let you know if we have a conflict. If we represent a client that is adverse to you, then our obligation is to our existing client. There are other times when we may be required by law to report information you provide to us. These circumstances would primarily involve case where someone indicates that someone is likely to commit a violent crime or injure a minor, incompetent, or elderly person. If you are concerned that any of the exceptions may apply to your legal mater, call us about these concerns before providing any information concerning your legal matter.
THE QUICK CASE EVALUATION FORM
If you choose to fill out the quick case evaluation form you will be providing us with personal information such as you name, email address and phone number. We of course need this information to respond to you. If you do not wish to provide this information then you may call one of the phone numbers listed on the web page.
How we use email addresses and phone numbers: We will not provide any of your contact information to anyone except as provided in this policy. We may use you contact information to send you a news letter or direct mail. At times we use contractors to help with this process. If you wish to be taken off our mailing list, simply ask that your name be removed. We will do so. We may also, on occasion, contact another lawyer or law firm that specializes in your particular legal matter. If you do not wish for us to consult with attorneys that are not associated with Coe, Cole & Easley P.C., please let us know. We will respect your wishes. We will not sell or provide your information to a third party except as set out above.
How to modify or delete this personal information or opt out: The simplest way to avoid providing the personal information discussed above is to call us rather than sending an email or filling out the evaluation form. If you fill out an evaluation for and wish to have you personal information removed, let us know and we will delete you information from our computers.
